The Australian Open Singles and Doubles Championships hosted by the Victorian Croquet Centre at Cairnlea wrapped up on 24 November.
Open Doubles Champions:
- Dwayne McCormick (SA) and Lachlan Berryman (VIC)
In a Best of 3 final, McCormaick and Berryman were too strong for the Victorian pair of Stephen Forster and Lindsay Patullo taking the title 26TP (LB)/14 and 26/12. During the round robin, the Victorian pair were the only ones to defeat the eventual winners.
Open Singles Champion:
- Dwayne McCormick (SA)
In a Best of 5 final, McCormick dropped the first game to Tasmanian Callum Hyland, then regrouped to take the next 3 to end with a scoreline 1/26, 26TP/1, 26/24 and 26/5.
