CHAIR – Jim Nicholls

Served on the Croquet New South Wales Board for 4 years prior to being elected to the board of Croquet Australia. Previous Professional Coach in Florida, USA. Represented Australia in 5 Association World Championships. Represented New South Wales 7 times and played in a winning Eire Cup team 3 times. Current holder of the Association Patron’s Trophy.

VICE CHAIR – Mex Kewish

Busselton, Western Australia. Commencing playing croquet in 2015. Joined Croquetwest Management Committee 2018. Elected President of Croquetwest in 2020. Appointed as Director of Board, Croquet Australia 2020.

TREASURER – Claire Keating

Treasurer of Croquet Victoria since June 2020, treasurer at Williamstown Croquet Club 2016 to 2023, and former member and treasurer at Mosman Croquet Club.

Player and qualified referee and Level 1 coach in Golf Croquet. Member of Victorian GC State team 2022 and 2023.

A Chartered Accountant and Professional non-executive director, formerly a registered company auditor and partner in financial services at PwC.

DIRECTOR – Nick Chapman

Nick is a member of the Canberra Croquet Club, and has competed in State, National and World Association croquet events for over 20 years. He has also represented South Australia as a Coach and High Performance Manager.

Over the years, Nick has organised and participated in a number of 24-hour croquet fund raising events.

Nick is a management consultant who has worked for, and consulted to, federal and state government for almost 20 years. He has also supported large engagements with change and risk management, as well as business-case and policy development.

DIRECTOR – Pat Habner

Pat has been a croquet player for 20 years as a member of the Nambour Croquet Club. Pat has been actively involved at all times in the management of her club and Sunshine Coast Region. After 7 years as Treasurer, two years as Secretary, and three years as President of the Sunshine Coast Region, Pat is currently Golf Croquet Co-Ordinator for the Region. She has represented her Region as a CAQ delegate and this year became President of the CAQ Management Committee.

DIRECTOR – Barbara Northcott

Member of Southport Croquet Club, QLD, since 2006. and President
2015-17. Referee qualifications in AC, Ricochet and Gateball. Coach
Trainer Presenter in all 4 codes. CAQ Director of Schools /Junior Croquet 2011-14. CAQ Director of Gateball 2018-2020. Played in 3 World Gateball Championships.

DIRECTOR – Sarina Cevaal-Hewitt

Secretary of Croquet Victoria, currently Regional Director for my region. Member of Twin City Croquet Club. Golf Croquet and Ricochet coach and referee.

Previously a member of various Croquet Victoria Sub-Committees. A member of the team monitoring the Croquet Victoria Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts.

Particularly keen that croquet clubs connect with their local government authority to have croquet offered as part of their community wellbeing plans and therefore include croquet in their forward planning along with other sports.
