Golf Croquet

Golf Croquet is the fastest growing version of the sport of Croquet. This is due mainly to its simplicity to learn and play, however there is a certain amount of strategic skill required to be successful. Golf Croquet is won by a player hitting their ball through each hoop.

Objective: Players aim to be the first to hit their ball through the next hoop in sequence. Each hoop is contested one at a time.The player or team that wins the most hoops is declared the winner.

Play style:

Turns consist of just one shot.
There's less focus on elaborate breaks - gameplay centres on hoop-running and defensive positioning.
Can be played in a singles or doubles format.

Each hoop is contested by all four balls in turn (blue, red, black, yellow) with blue and black playing against red and yellow. The player or team that wins the most hoops takes the game.

A National Golf Croquet Referee Training Program is in development by the Golf Croquet Technical Panel. In the meantime, each state runs its own training. Please contact your State Referee Coordinator for details.
