Eire Cup Winners List

The 2025 Association Croquet Championship consisting of the AC Gold Medal, Women's and Men's Singles and the Eire Cup has wrapped up in Adelaide SA. Congratulations to all the winners, participants, referees, volunteers and spectators who made a fantastic tournament.

Tournament Manager Mary Maslan said "Thank you to all the players, host clubs and volunteers for their assistance in making these events possible and we look forward to heading over to Western Australia in 2026."

RESULTS:

For the last 22 years, Victoria has finished in the top 2 of the Eire Cup. This year, they are the back-to-back champions, with NSW coming in second, only dropping the test against the strong Victorian outfit.

South Australian Simon Hockey won the Association Croquet Gold Medal, his 5th Championship Gold Medal with 9 wins. Stephen Pearce from NSW won the Silver Medal with 6 wins.

The Association Croquet Women's Singles was won by Queenslander Yuni Rowell who won this event  in 2023. Coming up against Claire Bassett in the final, Yuni proved too strong winning the Best of 3 in 2 games.

The Association Croquet Men's Singles was won by South Australian Dwayne McCormick, who is also a previous winner of this event in 2022 and 2108. In a Best of 5 final, it went down to the last game against Gold medalist SImon Hockey, with Dwayne taking the final game 26-19.
