The Australian Association Croquet Singles Championships hosted by Croquet Tasmania, wrapped up on 12 March with Victorian players managing to secure all three medals. Despite the hot and trying weather conditions, all players produced high-quality croquet at various venues including Sandy Bay, Rosny Park, Eastern Shore, Kingston, and New Town.

Congratulations to Greg Hill, Elaine Coverdale and Robert Fletcher, and well done to all participants on a fantastic tournament.

Australian Gold Medal

Greg Hill dropped 1 game for the event, winning the Gold Medal with 7 wins from Bruce Fleming with 6 wins.

Australian Women’s Singles

Elaine Coverdale defeated Claire Bassett in the final 2 games to 1 following up a hard-fought win in the semi-final.

Australian Men’s Singles

Robert Fletcher defeated Stephen Forster 3 games to nil.  Robert was unstoppable scoring 8 26tp scorelines on his way to the title.
